The professional Pharmacy Department at Cedar County Memorial Hospital is staffed by a Clinical Pharm. D. with 14 years of Hospital Pharmacy experience, one full time Pharmacy Technician who is also an LPN, and one part time Pharmacy Technician, also an LPN.

Services provided by the Clinical Pharmacy Department include pharmacokinetic dosing activities, IV preparation, UD drug delivery, and monitoring patient drug therapy for adverse effects, drug interactions, and therapeutics. The Pharm.D. is on call 24/7 for consultations, questions, and drug information.

The Pharmacy Department is responsible for all medications ordered, delivered and administered at Cedar County Memorial Hospital and its Clinics. The Pharm. D. works to ensure all medications given to our patients are appropriate and safe.
